Hard-pen calligraphy has a long history. From ancient carved symbols and inscriptions on oracle bones and bronze vessels to writings on bamboo slips and silk during the Qin and Han dynasties, traces of writing with hard tools can be found. In modern times, the introduction of pencils and fountain pens led to its widespread use due to their convenience. Today, hard-pen calligraphy employs tools such as pencils and fountain pens, offering diverse forms that emphasize both standardization and aesthetic beauty.

This course is specially designed for children aged 5–12, with levels divided into Beginner, Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced classes. Starting from basic strokes and radicals, the curriculum progresses step by step, helping children develop correct writing posture and master pen control techniques, while steadily improving writing speed and quality. At the same time, it nurtures patience, concentration, and an appreciation for beauty, enabling children to write well with ease and benefit for a lifetime.
