Saturday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (8 hours, with 1-hour lunch break)
An immersive full-day workshop dedicated to tea appreciation, sensory refinement, and brewing mastery.
Morning (9:30 AM – 1:30 PM)
Understanding the Six Major Tea Categories — green, yellow, white, oolong, black, and dark teas.
Tea Tasting & Sensory Training — learn to evaluate aroma, flavor, color, and leaf texture.
Group Tasting & Discussion — guided comparison with instructor’s demonstrations.
Tea Identification Practice — develop discernment through observation and aroma recognition.
Afternoon (2:30 PM – 6:30 PM)
Gaiwan Brewing Basics — master the fundamentals of proportion, temperature, and timing.
Advanced Gaiwan Techniques — adjust brewing parameters to reveal the character of each tea.
Interactive Brewing & Evaluation — peer tasting, discussion, and refinement of technique.
Instructor Feedback & Reflection — personalized guidance, Q&A, and reflective sharing.
Sunday | 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM (4 hours)
A day of synthesis and expression — bringing together the essence of practice, aesthetics, and hospitality.
Session Highlights
The Way of Teapots — explore Yixing and ceramic teapots, understanding form, function, and pairing.
Tea Table Design & Aesthetics — harmony of color, space, and utensils in creating your own tea scene.
Student Tea Presentation — independent tea table setup and brewing demonstration.
Closing Tea Gathering — sharing, reflection, and certificate presentation.
